Teething

All three at the same time. Ick. Feel better, guys!

AM is going in to work tomorrow, I think. Hope he's feeling up to it.

Everyone says he looks like me. I say that he has my temperament - placid. MM, on the other hand, lives his life on a hair trigger. Waaah! And DL just site in the corner, minding her business. She's sleeping through the night (at five months) - probably because she doesn't want to bother anyone when she's hungry.

Take your daughter to work day

... finally bundled up DL and took her on the train to work, after promising to do it for weeks. She seems to be behaving nicely, even helping me hold my calculator. Start 'em young, I always say. But two of the main people I wanted to show her to called in sick today. Maybe another time.

Lack of sleep ...

... is really getting to me. The trips are getting better at sleeping longer stretches, but they still get up a lot. MM is somewhat colicky and that makes it worse. He takes as much maintenance as the other two together. DL, our queen, is almost sleeping through the night - G-d bless her. We had 2 BP ladies show up for night duty (big $$), but we've tapered them down from 6 nights down to two, and soon to none.

Oh, yes, today was my birthday, number 45. Whatever!

Beloved relatives

Sister in law came to visit. She brought LOTS of stuff which vibey appreciates but I really don't. But making the house more organized is a good thing. SIL lives (and talks) like a 78 rpm record; I don't mind but I get dizzy after a while. House is a lot smaller these days.

Happy Shavous!

... tonight is the holiday of Shavous. Short and sweet - two days, one of them Saturday. We get to receive the Torah on Shavous, and Torah is our central focus. Oh, yeah, we get to eat dairy tomorrow, too. Two days away from the office.
